An Overview of Newline Australia’s Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use and protect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
We collect your personal information to assist us to serve you in the best possible way. We will only use your personal information in ways that you might expect it to be used in the course of our business.
We will not pass your personal information on without asking for your permission, unless we are required to do so by law.
Upon request, we will give you the chance to see any personal information we hold about you. Upon request, we will provide you with information on how we handle personal information. We will listen to any complaints regarding the way we handle your personal information and investigate this in accordance with the National Privacy Principles (NPP).

- Collection of your Personal Information (in accordance with NPP 1)
We only collect your personal information that is necessary for us to provide you with our services. We will only collect personal information in a manner which is fair and lawful.
- Use and Disclosure (in accordance with NPP 2)
The use and disclosure of your personal information is necessary for us to provide you with our services.
- Data Quality (in accordance with NPP 3)
We will take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Each time personal information is collected, it will be used for its intended purpose.
- Data Security (in accordance with NPP 4)
We will keep any personal information we collect for re-use in a secure environment. Our internal policies prohibit unauthorised access, modification or disclosure of your personal information. Once your personal information is no longer needed for its intended purpose, we shall take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify this personal information. Openness (in accordance with NPP 5) We shall, upon request by you, take reasonable steps to let you know what sort of personal information we hold about you, for what purposes we hold that information and how we collect, hold, use and disclose that information.
- Access to and Correction of your Personal Information (in accordance with NPP 6)
Upon request, we shall: Show you the personal information we hold about you; and Give you an opportunity to alter this information so that it is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
- Identifiers (in accordance with NPP 7)
We do not use Commonwealth Government identifiers (Medicare Numbers, etc.) in any area of our information collection or usage.
- Anonymity (in accordance with NPP 8)
Wherever lawful and practicable, we shall give you the option of not identifying yourself when entering into transactions with us.
- Transfer Overseas (in accordance with NPP 9)
In the case of your personal information being transferred overseas, we shall take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is treated as it would be in Australia.
- Collection of Sensitive Information (in accordance with NPP 10)
We will only collect sensitive information in accordance with NPP 10.
